Transport Minister Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong says public transport operators in the country can now make early preparations to renew their Road Transport Department (JPJ), Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) permits or licences or with the Singaporean authorities.

The results of a company audit carried out by the National Audit Department show that there is an increase in taxes and penalties amounting to RM16.35 billion that can be collected by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRB).
