A man was killed while his wife and three children were injured after the multi-purpose vehicle they were travelling in collided with a vehicle coming from the opposite direction at Jalan Titi Kobah flyover in Pendang on Tuesday night.

Initial investigations found that the woman had been operating as a caregiver for two years but was not registered with the Social Welfare Department.

The 11-year-old boy who died in an alleged methadone poisoning case in Sungai Ramal Baru here on Wednesday had written a note to his friends prior to the incident.

A neighbour said the youngest child in the family involved in the case of three children allegedly given a harmful liquid believed to be methadone would often play with her child along the corridor outside their flat in Sungai Ramal Baru here.
