Two 13-year-old girls pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate’s Court here today to two charges of assault and wrongfully confining a schoolmate last month.

Yap Thye Sun is charged with attempting to murder Corporal Mohd Nazri Sudiman by stabbing him in the abdomen, causing a 'penetrating abdominal wound with evisceration', an injury that could have led to the victim’s death.
