SHAH ALAM - Naza Motor Trading Sdn Bhd (Naza Motor), an operating company under the Naza Group has been redefining the concept of pre-owned luxury cars for over four decades.

Naza Motor chief operating officer Muhamad Aizzuddin Jaafar said over the years, the company has maintained its competitiveness in the industry in the country, earning a distinguished reputation especially with vehicles being sourced from the United Kingdom (UK) and Japanese markets.

"One of the key factors that sets us apart is because we are one of the pioneers in the Malaysian luxury used car market.

"Our decades of expertise in importing high-end luxury cars have given us the privilege of introducing exceptionally rare and limited supercars to discerning customers.

"One of the key innovative elements in Naza Motor’s business strategy is our emphasis on pre-order purchases. This approach allows customers to personalise their vehicle selection process, choosing their ideal cars from the UK and Japan based on specific preferences and requirements," he said in an interview with Sinar Daily.

He said with pre-ordering, Naza Motor avoided holding costs and reduced the need to carry a significant stock of vehicles and instead, it can procure vehicles directly based on customer preferences, resulting in more efficient operations.

Over the years, he said Naza Motor has successfully implemented pre-order purchases for a wide range of models, spanning from high-end luxury vehicles like Ferraris, McLarens and Aston Martins to more accessible options like the Toyota Vellfire, catering to a diverse clientele with varying automotive preferences.

Commenting on the electric vehicle (EV) market trend in Malaysia, Aizzuddin said the direction and strategy for Naza Motor which only imported used luxury cars was advancing, but at the Naza Automotive Group level, they were keeping an eye on the development of the EV trend and the technology it brings.

Beyond selling cars, he said Naza Motor placed immense value on nurturing enduring relationships with its clientele.

He said the company consistently curated exclusive events that expressed gratitude and engaged with their customer base.

"Customer satisfaction takes precedence with a commitment to continuously improve the overall customer experience.

"From the moment customers step into the showroom to post-sales support, Naza Motor focuses on cultivating robust and enduring customer relationships.

"We also intend to connect with a broader audience of discerning customers seeking the epitome of luxury and excellence in their vehicles," he said.

Aizzuddin said the company's commitment to innovation, sustainability and unwavering customer support will be instrumental in solidifying its presence in the luxury automotive sector.

He said establishing strategic partnerships with key industry players, financial institutions and technology partners will be crucial in securing favourable terms, accessing new markets and staying at the forefront of industry developments.

Another essential element to Naza Motor’s business was the diversification of their luxury car offerings, he added.

"Our diversification strategy is to broaden our portfolio of luxury brands and models.

"This move not only addresses a wider spectrum of customer preferences but also reinforces the company's standing within the thriving luxury car market," Aizzuddin said.
