SHAH ALAM - United States (US) rapper Redveil took a moment at the end of his set at the Camp Flog Gnaw festival to display the names of the children killed in Gaza.

The festival took place at the Los Angeles' Dodgers Stadium over the weekend.

Donning the Palestinian traditional scarf, the Keffiyeh, the rapper called for a ceasefire as over 11,000 people have been killed due to the Israeli forces' ongoing strikes and ground invasion since Hamas-led operation on Oct 7.

HIs gesture was shared in a video on his social media with the caption "Most important part of my set yesterday" with a Palestinian flag next to the text.

In the video, he was seen pointing to the screen and said "Behind me is a list of names of Palestinians that's been killed in Gaza since Oct 7. Nobody on this list made it to the age of four. Not one."

He also encouraged the audience to take action by visiting the ceasefiretoday.com website to demand for a ceasefire.

Closing his set, Redveil shouted "free Palestine."

His act of solidarity was part of a broader movement within the artistic community, with various artists, including those mentioned in the "Artists4Ceasefire" open letter to US President Joe Biden, calling for an end to the violence in Gaza.
