'No elements of abuse on Zayn Rayyan's body' - Police

PETALING JAYA - No elements of abuse were found on the body of the late Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin whose body was left in a creek near Idaman Apartments, Damansara Damai here last Wednesday.
Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said that the results of the previous autopsy found that Zayn Rayyan's injuries were not injuries caused by abuse.
He said that some parties had previously asked whether Zayn was a victim of abuse.
"The results of the previous autopsy found that there were no injuries that indicated the victim had been abused.
"I see that this family had taken good care of their children and I am sure anyone who experiences something like this will be sad," he told reporters when met at Damansara Damai here on Friday.
He urged the public to not make any baseless statements regarding the case.
"Take the family's feelings into account and the most important thing is to stop blaming the family in this matter.
"Let the police carry out the necessary investigations, I guarantee the police will do their best so that the suspects involved will be immediately brought to the court of law," he said.
On Wednesday, six-year-old Zayn Rayyan was found dead in a creek near Apartment Idaman, Damansara Damai at 10pm.
His body was found by a group of residents who carried out a search operation. The victim was previously reported missing in his residential area at noon last Tuesday before being found lying in the river about 200 metres from his residential block on Wednesday night.
