Ayer Kuning by-election: Five pillars drive PN candidate's 'Tekad' manifesto
Muhaimin's manifesto addresses health, economy and more

TAPAH - Perikatan Nasional’s (PN) candidate for the Ayer Kuning by-election, Abdul Muhaimin Malek, launched his manifesto, 'Tekad,' emphasising a holistic approach to addressing the needs of the constituency.
Announcing it online, Muhaimin outlined the five core pillars of his manifesto, which focus on health, economy, community service, infrastructure and the voice of the people.

He pledged that these commitments would be turned into actionable solutions for the well-being of all Ayer Kuning residents.
In his manifesto's health pillar, Muhaimin stressed the importance of addressing pollution and health-related concerns, citing illegal pig farms and inefficient waste management as pressing issues.
"The health of our people and the preservation of our environment cannot be compromised.
"We will enforce stricter actions against illegal activities and introduce zero-discharge systems in livestock farming and agriculture to ensure a greener and healthier Ayer Kuning," he said.
Promising to uplift local businesses under the economy pillar, he unveiled plans to provide basic entrepreneurship training, modern agricultural techniques and digital marketing strategies.
The initiative, he said, also includes integrating artificial intelligence tools through collaborations with relevant agencies.
"Our #MadeInAyerKuning campaign will promote local products while keeping costs low and fostering community support," he added.
Highlighting community service as a cornerstone of his agenda, Muhaimin announced plans to establish two permanent service centres and one mobile unit.
According to him, these facilities will provide assistance to persons with disabilities, the elderly and those in emergencies under the #AyerKuningWellbeing programme.
He also pledged to enhance Islamic education and promote racial harmony.
Under the infrastructure pillar, Muhaimin is committed to addressing residents’ concerns, from internet coverage and streetlights to road repairs.
"With the government's collaboration, we will rebuild mosques, upgrade public markets and even construct youth tracks to create more opportunities for our younger generation," he added.
Positioning himself as a champion for transparency and accountability under the voice of the people pillar, Muhaimin promised to advocate for the people of Ayer Kuning in the Perak State Assembly.
He assured voters that he would oppose policies that place undue burdens on citizens and introduce an annual report on his performance as their assemblyman.
"Tekad is not just a promise; it is a mission to bring meaningful change. If given the mandate, I will turn these commitments into reality for the benefit of all Ayer Kuning residents," he said.
