The Operations Control Centre of the Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department said the fatality occurred in Persiaran Dutamas, Taman Duta.

Police have detained two men to assist investigations into a fireworks explosion that occurred during the Deepavali celebration in Kulim on Monday, injuring 22 people.

The victim was found dead with multiple stab wounds on her body in the female washroom area of the school and the police also found two sharp weapons believed to have been used in the incident. - Bernama photo
