PUTRAJAYA – Putrajaya incumbent MP Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor is disappointed when several of his posters were vandalised by irresponsible parties.

He said the matter had never happened throughout the four terms in the election previously.

“I felt sad because it had never happened before, this was the first term, I don’t know where these people came from, they painted and crossed out my poster as well as destroyed campaign equipment placed by Barisan Nasional (BN),” he said.

He said the opposition should have run a peaceful campaign without any form of provocations.

“Why do they want to do things such as this? If you knew you were going to lose, don’t be so desperate,” he said when met by reporters after greeting the residents, here, on Saturday.

As the former people’s representative that led Putrajaya for four terms in a row, he said the residents had been brought up with good etiquette.

“I am the village chief that has led this village and wants the people in Putrajaya to live in peace,” he said.

“Putrajaya is a peaceful place, I suggest you stop doing these bad things here,” he said.
