The motorcyclist, Muhammad Zuhair Rifqi Abdul Jalil, 21, (left) was pronounced dead at the scene, while his pillion rider, Muhammad Firdaus Mohamad Zamri, succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at the HTAA Red Zone.

Subang Jaya police chief ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said the officer, who was riding a BMW motorcycle on official duty in Subang Jaya, had stopped 30 metres from the scene to avoid endangering other road users.

The suspect kicked the car of the complainant, who is a 24-year-old local man and flashed the middle finger at him.
